We are pleased to invite you to partner with us as a fiscal sponsor for the 2023 HIV Implementation Science to Optimize Research Impact (HISTORI) Scientific Congress. HISTORI is a new initiative led by Dr. Stephaun Wallace (HIV Vaccine Trials Network, University of Washington) and Dr. Ijeoma Opara (Yale University) that is committed to ending the HIV epidemic in Black communities in the United States by providing a self-directed, inclusive platform for Black investigators to connect, learn, and engage in collective advocacy. Launched last year, the inaugural congress meeting brought together Black-identifying investigators from across the country who are involved in research that contributes to ending the HIV epidemic in Black communities in the United States. The meeting provided a unique opportunity for priority-setting, knowledge exchange, research methods capacity-building, and science generation and we look forward to building on these successes in this year’s meeting! We are honored to partner with NAESM Inc. in bringing the HISTORI network together once again from June 7-8 at the Westin Peachtree Plaza in Atlanta, Georgia.

The HISTORI Scientific Congress is an excellent opportunity for individuals and organizations to connect with a network of dedicated professionals and community members who are working to end the HIV epidemic in Black communities. As a sponsor, you will be recognized as a key partner in the fight against HIV, and you will have access to a diverse and engaged audience of researchers, advocates, and policymakers. We believe that your support will be instrumental in helping us achieve our goal of ending the HIV epidemic in Black communities in the United States and we look forward to partnering with you!
